USA?
Join this course!

Course Description:
This homereading course will help students to develop their language abilities in all four skill areas - reading, writing, listening and speaking and to get some information about teen`s life in the USA.

The course sets the following goals:

  • to raise the level of educational autonomy, ability for self-education, work withmultimedia programmes, electronic dictionaries and resources of the Internet;
  • to develop cognitive and research skills, information culture and to broaden the mind;
  • to introduce the idea of cross-cultural communication basics, to cultivate tolerance and respect for spiritual values of different countries and peoples.

Course Requirements:
During a term you will be required:
• to attend classes and work hard at the offered materials;
• to participate in weekly class work and discussions;
•  to make web quests, a project, write letters and participate in group projects;
